Mustang Challenge Driver Shootout

In late July of this year, I was made aware of something called the Mustang Challenge driver shootout.  Miller Motorsports Park, BF Goodrich and The Mustang Challenge were offering a seat in one of their Mustang Challenge Pro race cars to the winner of the Mustang Challenge driver shootout.

The process was simple:  submit a 2 minute video about yourself to the Mustang Challenge and pray that they found you interesting enough to make the final cut.  Five drivers were chosen and I was among them!

On September 6th I will be flown out to Miller Motorsports Park for a 2-day trial involving various driving exercises as well as media relations and sponsor interview exercises. If successful, I will be racing on September 11th and 12th at Miller Motorsports Park as part of the Grand Am sanctioned racing that weekend!  If all goes well, I’ll be racing alongside some of the country’s best professional race car drivers in just 2 weeks!
